More IMAX Screens for Hyderabad? Movie Buffs Have a Reason to Celebrate!

For years, movie lovers in Hyderabad have been waiting for an IMAX screen in the city. Mahesh Babu and Asian Cinemas recently announced AMB Classic, bringing fresh hope to audiences looking for a premium large-screen experience. Now, reports suggest that another IMAX screen could be coming up near Hyderabad’s Financial District. Aparna Cinemas is reportedly developing a 12-screen multiplex at Wipro Circle, where the proposed IMAX screen is expected to be part of the complex. However, an official confirmation regarding the IMAX facility is still awaited.

Hyderabad’s cinema experience has been expanding with the introduction of premium formats such as PXL and Dolby Cinema, adding to the excitement among movie buffs. If the reported IMAX project becomes a reality, the city could have more than one venue offering the format, giving audiences additional options to experience films on a massive screen with immersive sound. Hyderabad’s passionate moviegoing audience will be watching closely for further updates. The proposed project’s final configuration and opening timeline have not yet been officially confirmed.
