Expectations are rising every day for “Varanasi”, the highly anticipated pan world film starring superstar Mahesh Babu and directed by S.S. Rajamouli. Every update from the movie is creating a buzz on social media, and the latest reports about a major bull fight sequence have added to the excitement. The bull elevation shot featured in the previously released glimpse received a huge response from audiences. Now, the makers are reportedly preparing to shoot the full fledged action episode on the outskirts of Hyderabad next week. The sequence is expected to combine large scale action with the strong emotional elements that are a trademark of Rajamouli’s filmmaking.
Made on a reported massive budget of around Rs. 1,300–1,400 crore, “Varanasi” is currently said to be in the final stages of filming. The makers are reportedly targeting completion of the shoot by this month or October, after which post-production and visual effects work will take priority. Rajamouli is said to be presenting Mahesh Babu’s character on a grand scale while also focusing on the emotional depth required by the story. The already released glimpse has taken expectations to new heights, and if everything goes as planned, “Varanasi” is scheduled for a worldwide grand release on April 7, 2027. Fans are eagerly awaiting this much-anticipated collaboration between Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli.
