An interesting update about the upcoming film of Nandamuri Balakrishna is creating buzz in the film industry. The actor is set to work again with director Gopichand Malineni, who earlier directed the hit movie Veera Simha Reddy. Initially, the team planned to make the film with a historical or period backdrop. However, due to the high budget required, they reportedly decided to drop that idea and are now preparing a regular commercial story instead.
Meanwhile, a new update about the film’s villain role has caught attention. Actor Manchu Manoj is said to have agreed to play the antagonist in the movie. Manoj, who earlier acted as a hero in many films, recently started experimenting with negative roles as well. He gained attention for his villain role in Mirai. Even though he is currently working on two films as a hero, reports say he has agreed to play a powerful villain in this Balakrishna film.
Earlier, Manoj acted as the lead in Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara, where Balakrishna appeared in an important role. After many years, both actors are likely to share the screen again in this project. This time, they are expected to face each other as rivals on screen. The makers are reportedly planning to release the film during the Sankranti festival next year, and an official announcement about Manoj’s role may come soon.
