After creating history with Baahubali and shaking the global box office with RRR, India’s visionary filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli is back with his next magnum opus starring Mahesh Babu. The world has been eagerly waiting for this collaboration, and now the suspense around the movie’s title is finally about to end.
A grand event is scheduled on November 15th at Ramoji Film City, where the official title and first-look glimpse will be unveiled. Preparations for the event are already happening on a massive scale.
Earlier, there were strong rumors that the movie would be titled “Varanasi”. However, since another small film with the same name was recently announced, doubts began to arise — would Rajamouli still use that title, or would he pick something new?
Now, a fresh buzz has taken over the internet — the title might actually be “Sanchari”. Recently, the makers surprised everyone by releasing the first song, sung by Shruti Haasan. Her powerful vocals, catchy lyrics and stunning lyrical video have created huge excitement among fans.
Since the song includes the lines “Sanchari… Sanhaari…”, many believe Rajamouli may have dropped a subtle hint about the final title. The movie, previously referred to as “Globe Trotter”, reportedly follows a protagonist who travels across countries — including Africa — making “Sanchari” (The Traveler) a fitting title.
Whether this speculation turns out true will be known on Saturday, when the official reveal finally happens.
