Jet Lee and Gayapadda Simham Open to a Dull Response

This weekend saw no major Telugu big releases, with small films like Jet Lee starring comedian Satya and Gayapadda Simham featuring Tharun Bhascker hitting theatres. Both films failed to receive positive word of mouth. Jet Lee, directed by Ritesh Rana, managed to collect around ₹1.30 crore on its opening day despite weak comedy and a confusing storyline.

Meanwhile, Gayapadda Simham also opened to negative reviews due to its unusual plot and lack of engaging content, earning around ₹76 lakh on day one. In contrast, Kara starring Dhanush, which released a day earlier, performed much better at the box office. The serious drama collected around ₹20.20 crore in two days, making it the clear winner of the weekend.
