Actor Vijay’s much-awaited film ‘Jana Nayakudu’, said to be his last movie before entering politics, is all set to release on January 9. Expectations are sky-high for this project. A grand audio launch event is planned in Malaysia on December 27, with ticket sales already setting records. Reports suggest the event alone could generate over ₹50 crore in revenue. Thousands of fans from Tamil Nadu have booked tickets and Anirudh Ravichander’s live concert is expected to be a major highlight.
However, recent rumors have created tension among fans. Speculation suggests that director H. Vinoth and KVN Productions have had creative differences over the film’s final output, reportedly delaying some post-production work. The team’s sudden silence and reduced promotions have added fuel to these rumors, as updates about the movie have slowed down significantly.
So far, the makers haven’t issued any official clarification. While the first lyrical song was released in Tamil, it hasn’t been launched in Telugu yet. There are reports that producer Naga Vamsi has acquired the Telugu distribution rights, but there’s no confirmation. He is currently busy with his own Sankranti release, ‘Anaganaga Oka Raju’. Unless something unexpected happens, ‘Jana Nayakudu’ is expected to hit screens on January 9, clashing with ‘Raja Saab’. Any delay could turn into a big advantage for Prabhas’ film, say industry sources.
