Recent rumors circulating on social media are creating confusion among movie lovers. Since many rumors in the past have turned out to be true, fans are unsure whether to ignore them or take them seriously. The latest buzz suggests that director S.S. Rajamouli may quit filmmaking after completing his film ‘Varanasi’. This has shocked many, as Rajamouli is the filmmaker who took Indian cinema to the global stage. However, several netizens are calling this rumor completely fake.
Rajamouli has often spoken about his dream project, ‘Mahabharata’ and there is speculation that he wants to end his career with this epic. According to rumors, after completing ‘Varanasi’, he may take a break and then begin work on Mahabharata. Since the story cannot be told in a single film, reports say Rajamouli plans to make it as an eight-part series, which could take over ten years to complete.
Because of this long commitment, it is believed that Rajamouli may stop making hero-centric films, making ‘Varanasi’ his last such movie. Casting big stars for so many years may not be practical, so the epic might be made with new actors. Still, fans are imagining big stars in iconic roles and even creating AI videos with Mahesh Babu as Krishna, Ram Charan as Arjuna, Prabhas as Karna and NTR as Bheema. It remains to be seen what Rajamouli finally decides.
