Is There No Hope for Devara 2 Anymore?

‘Devara’, starring Man of Masses Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor and directed by Koratala Siva, emerged as a major theatrical release. The film recorded strong box-office collections and reportedly delivered profits in the Telugu states. As ‘Devara’ recently completed two years since its release, the makers once again revisited the film. Limited special screenings were also held across the Telugu states, reportedly receiving a positive response from audiences. Before the film’s release, the makers had announced ‘Devara 2’ as its sequel, and several updates about the project emerged for some time. However, there has been no visible movement on the sequel recently.

The lack of any mention of ‘Devara 2’ in recent posts and on special occasions has now sparked discussion among fans. Even the second anniversary celebrations of the film did not appear to include any indication about the sequel, leading to renewed speculation that the project may have been put on hold. Similar reports had surfaced earlier, although occasional hints from the team had kept hopes alive. With such references now seemingly absent, questions surrounding the project have increased.
