Tamil star Vijay's much-awaited film Jana Nayagan has completed its censor formalities and received an 'A' certificate. The makers officially confirmed the development by unveiling a new poster featuring the striking line, "The Honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu C. Joseph." The powerful poster has generated significant buzz among fans, who are eagerly awaiting the film's theatrical release. However, the makers are yet to announce the official release date, leading to speculation among moviegoers.

According to industry reports, the film's earlier OTT agreement with Amazon Prime Video was cancelled following multiple release postponements. The makers are reportedly in talks with a new streaming platform while considering July 24 as a tentative release date. Directed by H. Vinoth and produced by KVN Productions, Jana Nayagan stars Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju and Bobby Deol in key roles, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
