Is Ram Charan’s ‘Peddi’ Hosting One of India’s Costliest Events?

Mega Power Star Ram Charan and director Buchi Babu Sana’s upcoming film ‘Peddi’ is gearing up for a grand release on June 4 amid huge expectations. As part of the promotions, the makers are organizing a massive musical event on May 23 at the BHEL Dussehra Grounds in Bhopal.

Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman is set to deliver a live performance at the event, which is expected to be one of the biggest highlights of the promotions. Reports suggest that highly advanced music equipment worth nearly ₹150 crore is being brought from Mumbai for the concert, while the makers are spending around ₹1 crore on rentals alone. A special song featuring Shruti Haasan will also be launched during the event.
