

SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film ‘Varanasi’ is creating huge buzz across the industry. The recently released pre-glimpse has reportedly increased expectations, with many calling it a global-scale cinematic project. The film’s visuals, concept, and large-scale production have attracted strong attention from both Indian and overseas markets. Competition for theatrical rights in the Telugu states is said to be intense.
According to trade reports, Mythri Movie Makers has offered a huge amount to acquire the theatrical rights of ‘Varanasi’. If finalized, the deal could become one of the biggest theatrical agreements in Tollywood history. The film is reportedly being made on a massive budget of around Rs.1400 crore, with Priyanka Chopra expected to play the female lead and Prithviraj Sukumaran rumored to appear in a key role.
