Vijay Deverakonda’s Ranabaali has received mixed reviews from critics, but the period action drama is reportedly enjoying a decent run in the Telugu-speaking states. While opinions about the film have been divided, some territories are said to be recording encouraging collections. Amid this response, the makers are reportedly planning to organise a success event in Anantapur on October 23. However, an official announcement regarding the event is still awaited.

Interestingly, during the film’s pre-release event, Vijay Deverakonda had said that the team would organise an event in Anantapur if the film performed well. The latest buzz has therefore raised expectations among fans about the possibility of the actor keeping his word. Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, Ranabaali features Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. Arnold Vosloo, Eeswari Rao, Sheela Rajkumar and Lal play key roles in the film.
