The actor has been facing criticism for being seen frequently with the singer even before his divorce is finalized. Now, a new controversy has added to the buzz, as reports suggest he purchased property in Goa for his rumored girlfriend.

According to reports, Ravi Mohan and Kenisha Francis bought land in Goa worth around ₹40 - 42 lakh. However, what surprised many is that in the property registration documents, Ravi Mohan reportedly mentioned his marital status as “unmarried”. Since his divorce is still not legally completed, this has raised several questions among the public.

Some people are expressing shock over how he could declare himself single before the official divorce. Others believe it might be a mistake made during the registration process. Ravi Mohan had married Aarti, daughter of producer Sujatha Vijayakumar, in 2009 and they have two sons. The couple separated in 2024, but the legal divorce is still pending. Recently, the actor also changed his name from Jayam Ravi to Ravi Mohan and was last seen playing a villain role in the film Parasakthi.
