Vijay’s Massive Remuneration for Jana Nayagan movie, Tops the Nation..

Film stars often speak about honesty and transparency, but details about movie budgets, collections and their own fees are rarely shared openly. In the same way, actor Vijay’s remuneration has now become a hot topic. It is being said that ‘Jana nayagan’, which Vijay announced as his last film before entering politics, earned him a massive payment.

According to reports, Vijay has become the highest paid actor in India with this film. He is said to have received around Rs. 220 crore for a single movie. The total budget of Jana nayagan is reportedly Rs. 380 crore and Vijay’s remuneration alone makes up more than half of it. This amount is said to be higher than what stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Prabhas usually earn.

Earlier, Vijay reportedly charged around Rs. 120 crore for films like Leo and Varasudu. For GOAT, his fee was said to be close to Rs. 200 crore and it is believed that he increased it further for this latest film. The announcement that this would be his last movie before politics also boosted the film’s market value. While Vijay’s fee is grabbing headlines, reports say the heroine and villain received around Rs. 3 crore each. Vijay has reportedly crossed Shah Rukh Khan’s record of Rs. 200 crore for Jawan. Meanwhile, Prabhas is expected to charge between Rs. 160 and 200 crore for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming film Spirit.
