Mamitha Baiju, who became popular among Telugu audiences with the film ‘Premalu’, is currently busy with a series of opportunities. She has been expanding her popularity by working in films across multiple languages within a short span. Three of her recent films were released one after another, with two performing well while another failed to meet expectations. Although the Tamil film ‘Jana Nayagan’ disappointed at the box office, Mamitha’s performance received praise. She later impressed audiences as a lively character in ‘Viswanath & Sons’, which turned out to be a success. Her Malayalam film ‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’, co-starring Nivin Pauly, reportedly collected Rs.174 crore and emerged as a blockbuster.
The film is being prepared for a Telugu release on the 4th of this month under the title ‘Bethlehem Kutumba Unit’. Amid her consecutive successes and growing popularity, reports in film circles suggest that Mamitha Baiju has significantly increased her remuneration. She is reportedly demanding up to Rs.3 crore per film. Given her growing demand, producers are also said to be willing to pay the amount. If she continues to deliver successful films, her remuneration could increase further in the future.
