Superstar Rajinikanth’s film Jailer 2 has reportedly undergone several editing changes, with details of deleted scenes gradually emerging after its theatrical release. Director Nelson Dilipkumar is said to have made multiple cuts to the final version of the film. Earlier reports suggested that some of Mohanlal’s portions had been trimmed, and now the latest buzz concerns scenes featuring Rajinikanth himself. According to reports, the superstar danced alongside around 200 girls in the song “Ala Bolelo,” which appears just before the interval. The film’s villain also reveals that the person responsible for killing his friend had been dancing with the group all along. However, viewers may not have fully understood the connection between this revelation and the dance sequence in the theatrical version.
Actor Jaffer Sadiq reportedly revealed that he had seen Rajinikanth dancing among the girls, but the sequence did not make it into the theatrical release. This has sparked curiosity among fans, who are hoping that the deleted footage will be released later on YouTube or included in an extended version of the film on an OTT platform. Reports suggest that several other scenes were also removed during editing, although the filmmakers have not officially confirmed whether an uncut version will be released. Produced by Sun Pictures, Jailer 2 features several actors in key roles, while Anirudh Ravichander composed the music. Fans will have to wait for an official announcement to find out whether they will get to watch the deleted scenes.
