After a series of flops, Ram took a short break and has now returned to theatres with Andhra King Thaluka. It’s not being called a super-duper hit, but decent-to-good talk is definitely coming in. In a way, both Ram and Bhagyashree can feel a bit happy. So, how much did the film collect on its opening day? What about the overseas numbers?
In the Telugu states, the film is reported to have netted over ₹4 crore on day one. Across India, the net collection is estimated to be between ₹4.5 crore and ₹5 crore. In the overseas market, the makers released an official poster announcing a collection of $275,000 (2.75 lakh dollars). Currently, there are no big competing films in theatres, which could work in favour of Andhra King Thaluka. However, Akhanda 2 is arriving next week, so it remains to be seen how much this film can earn in these crucial seven days.
