Megastar Chiranjeevi is reportedly working at a rapid pace to complete his upcoming family-action entertainer directed by Bobby in time for Sankranthi. The film has locked January 13 as its release date, and around 70% of the shoot is said to be complete. According to screenplay writer Kona Venkat, the team is currently filming at Muchintal and aims to wrap up the shoot by the end of this month, apart from the remaining fight sequences and songs. Fans are eagerly waiting to see whether the team can meet its planned schedule and bring the film to theatres for the festive season.
Meanwhile, curiosity is growing over Chiranjeevi’s next project after Bobby’s film. Reports suggest that the proposed collaboration with director Srikanth Odela, which was expected to be produced by Nani, may have been put on hold. This has reportedly prompted several filmmakers to approach Chiranjeevi with new stories. Directors Buchi Babu Sana, Gopichand Malineni, Anil Ravipudi and Harish Shankar are among the names being discussed in industry circles. Adding to the buzz, Tamil filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj is also said to have met Chiranjeevi and narrated a story. However, the megastar’s decision is reportedly still pending. There is no official confirmation about these developments, and it remains to be seen which director will receive the green signal for Chiranjeevi’s next film.
