Tamil superstar and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay’s upcoming film ‘Jananayagan’ is once again facing uncertainty regarding its release. The movie, announced before Vijay’s full-time political entry, has already been delayed multiple times. Initially planned for a Pongal release, the film was postponed due to censor-related issues. Although reports suggested a June 19 release, no official confirmation has been made yet.
Meanwhile, reports indicate that the theatrical distribution agreements in Tamil Nadu may undergo changes due to the prolonged delay. KVN Productions is said to be considering refunding distributors and opting for a direct release strategy once the final release date is locked. However, the makers are yet to make an official announcement regarding these developments.
