The trend of introducing family members into the film industry continues from Tollywood to Bollywood and now another star kid is likely to make an entry. Reports suggest that veteran actress Jaya Prada is planning to introduce her son as a hero in Tollywood. Many star kids enter the industry with high expectations, but only a few succeed, making such debuts highly interesting.
Jaya Prada was one of the top actresses in Indian cinema during the 1980s and 1990s. She acted alongside many leading stars like N. T. Rama Rao, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Chiranjeevi, Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan. Apart from films, she also had a successful political career. She later adopted her sister’s son, Siddharth (also known as Samrat) and raised him as her own.
Now, there are strong rumors that Samrat will soon be launched as a hero under a well-known production house. It is said that Jaya Prada herself is supervising the script and preparations. Samrat has reportedly undergone training in acting, dance and action. The debut film is expected to be made on a big budget with popular actors and an official announcement may come soon if everything goes as planned.
