Another Big Twist in 'Maatrubhumi' Release!

Bollywood star Salman Khan and Chitrangda Singh are starring in the upcoming film Maatrubhumi, directed by Apoorva Lakhia. Salman plays the role of Colonel Santosh Babu in the film. Initially titled Battle of Galwan, the makers later renamed it Maatrubhumi to avoid controversy. Although filming has been completed, the movie's release has been delayed due to certification-related issues.

According to reports, concerns raised over certain sensitive references in the film, including those related to China, have contributed to the delay. The film is now expected to be postponed to 2027, though an October 20, 2026 release during the long weekend remains possible if all issues are resolved and a suitable release date becomes available. However, no official announcement has been made by the makers.
