Allu Arjun’s upcoming pan-India film Raaka, directed by Atlee, has been creating strong buzz ever since the project was announced. The film is being produced on a grand scale, and Allu Arjun’s first-look appearance, featuring a striking bald and beast-like avatar, further increased expectations. A poster claiming that Raaka will hit theatres on January 26, 2028, coinciding with Republic Day, is now circulating on social media. However, the release date has not been officially announced by Sun Pictures. Earlier industry reports suggested a December 2027 release, while discussions about a 2028 release have emerged due to the film’s large-scale production and extensive VFX requirements. Sai Abhyankkar is composing the music, while Deepika Padukone is said to play a key role. Rashmika Mandanna, Janhvi Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur have also been linked to the project, although details about their roles are yet to be officially confirmed.
