The much-anticipated collaboration between Allu Arjun and director Lokesh Kanagaraj has once again become a topic of discussion. The project, tentatively referred to as AA23 and planned under Mythri Movie Makers, was expected to be a major pan-Indian film. However, fresh speculation on social media claims that the project may have been shelved due to a lack of clarity regarding the story and shooting plans. There is no official confirmation from the makers regarding the status of the film.
Lokesh Kanagaraj has previously been linked with Ram Charan as well, with reports suggesting that the filmmaker had discussed story ideas with the actor. With Charan currently busy with multiple projects, Mahesh Babu’s name is now reportedly being considered for Lokesh’s next film. There is also speculation that the project could be backed by Mythri Movie Makers. At the same time, other reports claim that AA23 could still move forward after Allu Arjun completes his current film Raaka, with Lokesh’s project potentially beginning in January 2027. Until an official announcement arrives, all these developments remain unconfirmed.
