Tollywood icon star Allu Arjun’s stardom needs no special introduction today. With the Pushpa series, his popularity not only reached the pan-India level but, after Pushpa 2, soared to a truly global scale. At a time when Bunny is enjoying the peak phase of his career and gearing up for another big project under the direction of Atlee, a sensational piece of news from Bollywood has become a hot topic in film circles the buzz about a potential collaboration between Allu Arjun and acclaimed Bollywood director Aditya Dhar. Known for blockbusters like Uri: The Surgical Strike and Dhurandhar, Aditya Dhar made a remarkable debut by winning a National Award with his very first film. His recent release Dhurandhar reportedly collected over ₹1300 crore, shaking the Indian box office.
According to Bollywood media reports, Aditya Dhar, who is currently planning Dhurandhar 2, is keen on launching his dream project afterward. In this context, it is said that a story narration has already taken place with Allu Arjun, and that the actor responded positively. Initially, Dhar had envisioned a grand mythological action drama centered around the character of Ashwatthama. However, with Kalki 2898 AD featuring the same character in a pivotal role, the idea was reportedly dropped. The latest buzz suggests that the new project will be a completely original story not mythological, but a high-octane action drama designed to meet international standards.
Having already delivered two films in the prestigious ₹1000 crore club with the Pushpa franchise, Allu Arjun is currently busy with major projects tentatively titled AA22 and AA23. There are also ongoing discussions about a potential film with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. In this scenario, if the collaboration with Aditya Dhar materializes, fans believe it could become Allu Arjun’s third ₹1000 crore blockbuster. However, no official announcement has been made so far. Industry insiders suggest that clarity on this much-talked-about combination is likely only after the theatrical release of Dhurandhar 2.
