Allu Arjun is reportedly planning to temporarily relocate to Mumbai with his family to focus on the shooting of his upcoming film Raka. As a significant portion of the film is being shot in Mumbai, the actor is said to have taken this decision to better manage the demanding schedule and reduce constant travel between cities. This move is expected to help him dedicate more time and energy to the project while maintaining consistency in filming.
According to reports, Allu Arjun intends to stay in Mumbai for the next two to three years to fully commit to the film. The role requires a major physical transformation, with the actor reportedly spending nearly four hours daily on prosthetic makeup and an additional two hours for its removal. Directed by Atlee and produced by Sun Pictures, the film has already created strong buzz following its first look reveal. There are also speculations about a cameo by Shah Rukh Khan. Despite rumors of delays, the film is progressing as planned, with Allu Arjun expected to complete his portions by the end of this year and a theatrical release targeted for the second half of 2027.
