The latest film Lenin, starring Akhil Akkineni, is still in the shooting stage. The makers have kept two possible release dates in mind. If Ram Charan’s film Peddi does not release, Lenin may hit theatres on May 1. If Peddi releases, then Lenin could be postponed to June 26. As of now, the film still has nearly 25 days of shooting left.
The remaining work includes one major action sequence and a few songs. Reports suggest that the fight sequence alone may take more than ten days to complete. This means Lenin has almost the same amount of pending work as Peddi. However, industry talk says Lenin is in a more comfortable situation compared to Peddi.
The team is expected to wait until the first week of March before starting promotions, depending on the situation. The film is produced by Nagarjuna and presented by Sithara Naga Vamsi. Notably, this movie marks Akhil’s first rural-based, rugged love story, making it an interesting project for fans.
