AI Video Goes Viral in the Name of ‘Fauzi’

A video claiming to show Pan-India Rebel Star Prabhas in his look from Fauzi, the period action drama directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, has gone viral on social media. In the clip, Prabhas appears in a military outfit, seated majestically on a throne, leaving fans excited about his character and the film’s visual style. However, the video’s authenticity has become a topic of discussion among Telugu film circles, with many questioning whether it is an actual leak from the movie’s sets or a digitally created visual.

According to reports examining the viral clip, the visuals are not confirmed footage from the film’s shooting location. Instead, a SynthID watermark reportedly indicates that the video was generated or edited using Google AI. AI-related indicators were also identified in the opening seconds of the clip, while no corresponding AI watermark was reportedly detected in the audio. Therefore, the video should not be treated as an official teaser or an authentic leaked scene from Fauzi. The film, being produced by Mythri Movie Makers, has generated considerable anticipation, with reports suggesting that Prabhas will portray a military officer in a pre-independence setting. Fans are advised to wait for official updates from the filmmakers before believing social media leaks or AI-generated content.
