After a series of flops, Nithin gets a golden chance!

Once upon a time, actor Nithin faced more than a dozen back-to-back flops before making a strong comeback with “Ishq.” His career went smoothly for a few years after that, but following his 2020 success with “Bheeshma,” the bad phase seems to have returned. It’s been nearly five years since his last hit, with around half a dozen flops in a row. His latest film, “Thammudu,” turned out to be a huge disaster, leaving . Reportedly, Nithin even had to opt out of the film “Yellamma.” It’s unclear whether he stepped away on his own or whether producer Dil Raju decided to drop him after the failure of Thammudu.

Rumors also surfaced that “Ishq” director Vikram Kumar would team up with Nithin again, but those turned out to be false. There was also buzz about a collaboration between Sreenu Vaitla and Nithin, which ultimately didn’t materialize either. Now, it  finally seems like Nithin’s new project has been confirmed. Director VI Anand, known for his unique storytelling, is set to direct the actor in his next film. The movie will be produced by Srinivas Chitturi, who previously backed films like The Warriorr, Skanda, and Naa Saami Ranga. 

VI Anand, originally a Tamil filmmaker who made the experimental movie “Appuchi Gramam,” later shifted his base to Tollywood. His Telugu films include Tiger, Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada, Okka Kshanam, and Ooru Peru Bhairavakona. Among these, Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada was a big hit, Okka Kshanam flopped, and the other two performed moderately well. According to reports, Nithin and VI Anand’s new film will be a science fiction drama, featuring Nithiin in a dual role. The official announcement about this project is expected very soon.
