After Indian 2 failed to meet expectations, the producers are reportedly taking a cautious approach to the budget for the third instalment. Amid this situation, director Shankar is said to have taken a special initiative to move the film’s production forward. According to recent reports, Shankar has agreed to defer his remuneration until Indian 3 is released. In return, he has reportedly asked Lyca Productions not to cut costs on visual effects and the remaining post-production work.
Shankar’s reported intention is to complete the film at the originally planned quality without compromising on its technical standards. If true, this decision could help speed up the work that has been stalled. However, the production house has not issued an official statement confirming these reports. The latest developments surrounding Indian 3 have sparked fresh interest in the film industry.
