A significant milestone has been achieved in one of India's most ambitious infrastructure projects with the successful completion of the Zojila Tunnel breakthrough. The development marks a crucial step toward ensuring all-weather connectivity between Srinagar and Ladakh, greatly enhancing transportation, tourism, and strategic mobility in the region.
The breakthrough event was attended by Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, and senior officials. Representatives from Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Limited (MEIL), including Managing Director P.V. Krishna Reddy and Director C.H. Subbaiah, also participated in the historic occasion.
