Zee Media and entertainment entrepreneur Subhash Chandra has made candid remarks about his current financial situation, saying that only ₹6.5 crore remains from his personal wealth. The 75-year-old businessman said he is currently managing his expenses through rental income earned by leasing out a portion of his residence. Despite the significant financial setback, Chandra said he does not regret the situation and remains confident about rebuilding his life and career. He described himself as a person who knows how to create and pursue new ventures and said he intends to continue doing so.
Chandra’s comments come amid widespread discussion surrounding the latest ruling by the Delhi Bench of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) in his personal insolvency resolution case. He said that, under his personal insolvency resolution plan, he is prepared to surrender the remaining ₹6.5 crore to creditors as offered under the plan. Despite losing much of his wealth, Chandra said he continues to remain positive and believes his experience and ability to develop new ideas will help him rebuild financially.
