YS Jagan Reacts to Arrests of Sourav Das and Ashutosh Ranka

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, president of the YSR Congress Party and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, has reacted to the arrests of Sourav Das and Ashutosh Ranka. In a post on X, he stated that their arrests would not resolve the underlying issue and could instead make the situation more complicated. He stressed the need to identify and rectify shortcomings in the electoral system rather than relying on arrests to address the problem.

Jagan said that identifying and resolving issues in advance would yield better results than responding only after problems emerge in the electoral system. He emphasised the need to restore public confidence in the electoral process by addressing its shortcomings. He also expressed his sympathy for Sourav Das and Ashutosh Ranka.
