YouTuber Prashna Ravan Booked Under UAPA

A case has been registered against YouTuber Prashna Ravan, also known as Bachalakuri Joseph, under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). The YouTuber is currently in the custody of the Gannavaram Police. According to police sources, the case was registered following allegations that he made objectionable remarks against Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. He was brought to Gannavaram in the early hours of Sunday for further legal proceedings.

Police have invoked multiple provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including Sections 147, 148, 152, 197, 197(1)(d), and 353(1)(b), along with Section 39 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 (UAPA). Authorities are continuing the investigation, while further legal action will depend on the findings of the ongoing probe.
