YouTuber Nandana Questioned in Consultancy Fraud Case

YouTuber Nandana, who operates the ‘Nandoos World’ channel, appeared before Ibrahimpatnam police in NTR district on Tuesday in connection with a case involving alleged collection of money by promising overseas employment and Certificates of Sponsorship. The case was registered following a complaint by Ibrahimpatnam resident Shivakranthi Kumar, who alleged that ₹15 lakh had been collected from him. Nandana, who had arrived at Shamshabad airport from London, was reportedly detained by immigration officials on Monday and later appeared before the police along with her mother and lawyers. She was questioned for around four hours by Circle Inspector Subrahmanyam and Sub-Inspector Raju.

During the questioning, police reportedly sought details about her alleged role in Destiny Consultancy, including its ownership and directors. Nandana is said to have told investigators that she was not involved in the consultancy’s affairs and that her husband Madhukar and an accountant handled its operations. Meanwhile, some residents of Addanki in Prakasam district also approached the Ibrahimpatnam police station, alleging that they had paid money and were similarly cheated. Police issued Nandana another notice directing her to appear for questioning on September 16. A verbal altercation also reportedly took place between journalists and her lawyers outside the station, but the issue was later resolved after the lawyers apologised.
