Yogi Adityanath Slams Opposition Over Ayodhya Donations Row

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has criticized opposition parties for allegedly targeting Sanatan Dharma using the Ayodhya Ram Temple donation issue, while remaining silent on matters related to Waqf properties. He questioned why opposition leaders have not spoken out on Waqf-related concerns and accused parties like the Samajwadi Party and Congress of frequently changing their stance. He remarked that those who once opposed the construction of the Ram Temple are now claiming that religious sentiments are being hurt in Ayodhya.

Yogi Adityanath further alleged that opposition parties are ignoring encroachments on Waqf properties while raising concerns over alleged misuse of temple donations. He stated that the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has requested the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the donation issue, and assured that the truth will be established through a fair investigation.
