Woman Arrested for Blackmailing a Government Employee

A woman has been arrested for allegedly blackmailing a government employee using private photos and videos, extorting money from him over the past three years. The victim, Kiran, who works at the Khairatabad ASO office, had developed an acquaintance with the accused woman from Suraram Colony, which later turned into an extramarital relationship. During this period, the woman reportedly captured photos and videos of their meetings and began threatening him.

She also allegedly collected hotel room receipts from their meetings and used them as evidence to demand money repeatedly. Unable to bear the ongoing harassment and financial pressure, Kiran approached the police for help. Based on his complaint, the police registered a case, arrested the accused woman, and remanded her to judicial custody.
