TTD Board Member Bhanu Prakash Reddy said the problems faced by Telugu Ayyappa devotees visiting Sabarimala in Kerala would be brought to the attention of the government. He assured that efforts would be made sincerely to address their concerns and said the difficulties faced by Ayyappa devotees at Sabarimala should be viewed as an issue affecting the wider Hindu community. He was speaking at a conference held in Vijayawada on Sunday to discuss the problems faced by Ayyappa devotees from Andhra Pradesh travelling to Sabarimala.
Bhanu Prakash Reddy recalled his own experience of witnessing the difficulties faced by devotees in Kerala. He criticised the Kerala government, alleging that it listens to people’s concerns but does not take effective action. He said the government should focus on resolving the problems of devotees rather than merely making assurances.
