

Government Whip Vijaya Ramana Rao said that Minister Konda Surekha should clarify why she has not responded to her daughter’s remarks. He demanded an unconditional apology from Konda Surekha and her daughter and warned that the party high command could take strict action if she fails to provide a proper explanation.
Government Whip Ramachandra Naik said Congress leaders and workers had fought for several years to bring the party to power. He said it was inappropriate for party leaders to criticise Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and demanded action against remarks that could damage the party and government.
Government Whip Adi Srinivas said all Congress MLAs had condemned the remarks made against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He urged the disciplinary committee to take action in the Konda Surekha matter and asserted that all Congress MLAs would stand by Revanth Reddy.
Ramagundam MLA Raj Thakur said Konda Sushmita’s remarks were inappropriate and could send a wrong message to Congress workers. He demanded strict action against anyone making statements that could harm the party and government.
Jubilee Hills MLA Naveen Yadav said the developments were unfortunate. He made it clear that disrespectful remarks against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy would not be tolerated. He demanded party action against those violating discipline and called for an apology to Revanth Reddy.
