Kerala’s incoming Chief Minister Satheesan visited the Sabarimala temple and offered special prayers to Lord Ayyappa ahead of assuming office. Wearing the traditional Ayyappa mala, he arrived at Pamba and received a grand welcome from temple officials and police authorities. He later reached the temple through the traditional trekking route.
Sources said Satheesan prayed for the welfare and prosperity of the people of Kerala. His visit to Sabarimala before taking charge as Chief Minister has become a topic of discussion in political circles. The temple area also witnessed increased activity from devotees during his visit.
