

The Andhra Pradesh Government has released ₹2,711.79 crore for the distribution of NTR Bharosa Pensions to 6,219,648 beneficiaries across the state in July. State Minister for MSMEs, Rural Poverty Alleviation and NRI Empowerment, Kondapalli Srinivas, announced that pension disbursement will begin on July 1. The government has also sanctioned ₹3.12 crore to provide pensions to 7,792 newly approved widow beneficiaries under the Spouse Pension scheme.
The minister stated that since the formation of the coalition government, a total of ₹68,598.44 crore has been spent on pension payments, including the latest allocation. He emphasized that the government is committed to the welfare of the poor and has been ensuring that NTR Bharosa pensions are distributed on the first day of every month, providing timely financial support to eligible beneficiaries.
