A major weapons theft has reportedly taken place at the Madras Regiment in Secunderabad, raising serious security concerns. Army officials allegedly found that a room had been broken into and several weapons were missing. A complaint was subsequently lodged at Bollaram Police Station.
According to the complaint, 12 weapons, including four AK-47 rifles, six pistols and an INSAS rifle, along with a quantity of ammunition, were reportedly stolen. Police have registered a case based on the complaint from Army officials and are investigating the incident. The probe is being conducted discreetly, and further details are awaited.
