

During the Parliamentary Standing Committee meeting, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that modernization and urbanization will bring new challenges in the future. He stressed the need to upgrade infrastructure in line with the growing urban population and highlighted plans to develop Hyderabad as a traffic-free and signal-free city.
He stated that a three-level traffic system comprising underpass, surface, and elevated routes is being planned along with a multi-modal transport system. Multi-level parking facilities are also being developed. The state development strategy has been divided into CURE, PURE, and RARE zones. He also outlined the Telangana Rising 2047 master plan, Musi Riverfront development, introduction of EV buses, and conversion of autos into electric vehicles under retrofit programs.
