

Minister Nara Lokesh said that the state is repaying the mandate given to the NDA alliance. He spoke at a public meeting after Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu laid the foundation stone for the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) project in Puttaparthi, which will be built over 650 acres with an investment of ₹15,803 crore. The project will focus on manufacturing fifth-generation fighter aircraft in India.
Lokesh praised Chandrababu Naidu’s vision in bringing major industries and defence projects to Andhra Pradesh, stating that Puttaparthi has transformed into a global spiritual and development hub. He highlighted the NDA “double-engine” government at the Centre and State, crediting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and CM Chandrababu Naidu for driving investment growth. He also mentioned upcoming development plans including a High Court bench in Kurnool and continued industrial expansion in Rayalaseema.
