US President Donald Trump has said the war with Iran will end “very soon,” while claiming that the United States is taking action to protect global and national security. He described the conflict as a necessary measure and said the situation would be resolved soon, although no confirmed end to the war has been announced.
Trump also said fuel and oil prices would come down sharply once the war ends. His comments come amid continued disruptions and uncertainty in global energy markets linked to the conflict and tensions around the Strait of Hormuz. Oil prices remain elevated, while the G7 has agreed to release emergency oil and diesel reserves to ease supply pressures.
