Warangal Super Speciality Hospital to Begin OP Services Soon

The Telangana government has decided to begin outpatient services across all departments at the new Multi Super Speciality Hospital being constructed in Warangal. The decision comes in the wake of recent incidents at Warangal’s MGM Hospital. CMO Principal Secretary N. Sridhar and Special Chief Secretary Vikas Raj directed officials to take the necessary steps to make OP services operational immediately.

CMO officials visited the under-construction Super Speciality Hospital on Friday and inspected the building works along with essential infrastructure, including electricity supply, water facilities and other basic amenities. They later discussed the project and related arrangements with CMO Secretary K. Manikya Raj and Planning and Finance Department Secretary Dr. Gaurav Uppal. Officials said that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is expected to inaugurate the hospital in November. They also instructed officials to make 18 floors ready by October and asked the Warangal and Hanamkonda district collectors to visit the hospital every day and monitor the construction progress. Superintendents from MGM Hospital, Government CKM Maternity Hospital, Hanamkonda Government Maternity Hospital and Warangal Regional Eye Hospital, along with the Principal of Kakatiya Medical College, attended the review meeting.
