

Actor Vishnu Manchu visited Medak district at the invitation of District Collector Pratima Singh to promote regional tourism and heritage conservation. During his visit, he explored several iconic landmarks, including the historic Medak Fort, the revered Edupayala Durga Bhavani Temple and the world-famous Medak Cathedral. He interacted with officials to learn more about the district's cultural, historical and natural significance.
Speaking to the media, Vishnu Manchu said Medak offers immense potential for tourism as well as film production, with its forts, forests, lakes, temples and scenic landscapes providing ideal shooting locations. He assured full support for initiatives aimed at preserving the district's heritage and promoting it as a global tourist destination. The actor also urged people to visit Medak at least once to experience its rich history and natural beauty, while appreciating the efforts of District Collector Pratima Singh and the Tourism Department in developing the region.
