TTD Additional Executive Officer C.H. Venkayya Chowdary said that special priority is being given to the safety, convenience, and darshan of common devotees after an unexpected surge of pilgrims in Tirumala on Saturday. He reviewed the queue lines near Pachikalu Gangamma Temple and stated that the administration is working round the clock to provide better services.
He said that while Tirumala usually provides darshan to around 85,000 to 87,000 devotees daily, more than 1.5 lakh devotees arrived on Saturday, creating an unprecedented rush. To facilitate quicker darshan for common devotees, TTD has cancelled Monday's VIP Break Darshan and the quota of 800 Srivani current booking tickets. Additional police forces have been deployed, staff leave has been cancelled, and essential services are being provided without interruption.
