Actor turned politician Thalapathy Vijay’s political journey has been closely linked to the welfare activities carried out through his fan network over the years. According to Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, Vijay’s supporters have been involved in social-service initiatives since the early 1990s, with fan clubs gradually evolving into organised welfare forums. The party says these activities have included education support, medical assistance, food distribution and other public-welfare initiatives across Tamil Nadu.
