Actor-politician Vijay is set to take the oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu tomorrow morning at 11:00 AM. In this context, Vijay met with the Governor on Friday evening to demonstrate that he commands the support of a majority of the MLAs. The presence of Venkat K. Narayana—the producer of the film Jana Nayagan—alongside leaders of the TVK party, has sparked considerable interest.
Venkat K. Narayana, who founded KVN Productions in 2020, is currently producing several big-budget films, including Jana Nayagan. Despite having no direct ties to politics, his accompanying Vijay to meet the Governor has become a topic of widespread discussion. Meanwhile, Jana Nayagan—a remake of the film Bhagavanth Kesari—has been facing delays due to issues related to censorship and piracy. Now that Vijay is assuming the office of Chief Minister, it is widely believed that the hurdles hindering the film's release are likely to be cleared. Speculation is now rife as to whether the movie will hit theaters this very month or if its release will be pushed to June.
