Vijay Emerges as a PM Choice with 9.2% Support: Survey

Tamil actor and TVK leader Vijay has emerged as one of the names being considered as a preferred choice for India’s next Prime Minister, according to the latest India Today-CVoter Mood of the Nation survey. Vijay reportedly received 9.2% support in the survey, placing him third among the listed choices.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi topped the preference list with 48.7% support, while Congress leader Rahul Gandhi stood second with 27.1%. Vijay’s position has drawn attention amid growing political interest surrounding his Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam. However, the survey does not confirm claims that Vijay enjoys particularly high popularity in Northeast India.
